녹음하기전에 영상 들으면서 step1 연습하다보면 스크립트가 거의 외워져서 step2에서 한국어 몇 개 단어만 기억나면 나머지부분도 줄줄이 기억나서, *한국어를 영어로 바꾸는 연습이 잘 되고 있는 건지 헷갈려요.

아주 이상적입니다. 핵심은 영어 문장을 만들어 보는 것이지 한->영 번역 자체가 아닙니다. 오히려 한글 단어만 보고 Full sentence가 가능하다는 건 그만큼 해당 영어 문장이 머리 속에 익숙해졌다는 의미라고 봅니다. 저 역시도 Step 2 할 때 그냥 핵심 단어만 보고 바로바로 말합니다. 한글 스크립트는 '무슨 말을 해야지?'를 기억시켜주는 힌트에 불과합니다. 잘하고 계십니다:)

복습 안하고 시간이 지나면 당연히 까먹구요. 어떤 방향으로 추가공부를 해야 할까요? 

제가 생각해본 것은 추가적으로 이전에 했던 STEP3 계속 리뷰하고, 저에게 필요한 말하기 주제를 찾아서 STEP3처럼 추가적으로 연습하는 것도 좋을거 같구요.

복습 안하고 시간이 지나면 당연히 까먹구요. 

명확합니다. 복습은 필수입니다. 영어든 뭐든 복습 없이는 향상도 없습니다. Step 3 리뷰 좋습니다.

스텝3단계에서 

꼭 영어스크립트 적은대로 녹음되도록 무한연습 해야하는 건가요 아님 그냥 그때 생각나는 단어나 문장구조로 녹음해야 하는건가요??

A3.

의사전달만 된다면, 그때 떠오르는 단어를 사용해도 괜찮다고 봅니다. 왜냐하면, Step 2, 3의 궁극적인 목적은 스스로 문장을 만들어보는 것이고, 적은 걸 말하나 바로 떠오르는 걸 말하나 목적은 달성하기 때문입니다.

한 가지 덧붙이자면, 라이팅할 때 가급적이면 평소 쓰지 않는 문법, 쓰지 않는 단어들로 적으면 좋습니다. 왜냐하면, 바로바로 떠오르는 단어는 굳이 연습 없이도 나중에 말할 수 있지만, 의도적으로 라이팅에 녹여낸 문장들은 그렇지 않기 때문입니다.

예를 들어, 어제 ~를 따로 내다라는 뜻으로 set apart를 배웠습니다. 하지만 완벽히 똑같은 의미는 아니지만 종종 take도 interchangeable하게 쓰일 수 있습니다. 우리는 보통 take를 생각하죠. 하지만 가급적 set aside를 라이팅하고 스피킹하면 더 다채롭게 말을 할 수 있을 것입니다.

It became so low that we did not have much food on the table. However, things changed. And situations became better and better. 😊
